I was once told that a really great photograph always tells a story. It brings you to a memory, a feeling, or a belief. Every time I aim my lens I try and stay true to this idea. I’m a wildlife & landscape photographer living on Baptiste Lake, Ontario, Canada.
I spend my time immersed in nature, researching and tracking animals in their environment. Wildlife photography to me is extremely meditative and provides a pathway to connect with the land and the life it is full of. Wildlife photography also gives me the privilege of trying to tell an animal's story to the best of my ability so that viewers of my work may appreciate, respect and cherish our biodiverse planet.
I’m heavily passionate about environmental sustainability, and single use plastic reduction. I currently live in a 300 square foot tiny home and spend the better portion of my days getting more in tune with nature, always bringing my camera along for the ride.
