Hi, I'm Kathy Haycock |
Feel free to get in touch
|
I’m a dedicated plein air painter. I follow my heart painting onsite in Eastern Ontario’s Algonquin wilderness, across Canada’s northland from Greenland to Alaska and in the American Southwest.
My major influences are my father, Arctic artist Maurice Haycock, and his long time painting partner A.Y. Jackson. Paintings and stories of their sketching trips filled my world as I was growing up.
You’re invited to experience an intimate connection with the landscape in my paintings, expressed in colour, movement, rhythm and spirited brushwork. I hope it resonates with you, to appreciate the natural world, to connect with Nature and explore on your own.
As a committed supporter of conservation, I always donate a portion of art sales to environmental foundations.
