I have been involved in art since I was very young, whether it was my weekly oil painting lessons or taking pictures with my Brownie camera!! I have always loved animals and wildlife and picked up my first DSLR, a digital camera, about 18 years ago. I was hooked!
I want to share my passion for wildlife and conservation with my audience and educate people through my work. My image tells a story of the animal and also my experience seeing it. I want to bring awareness to the plight of many of our native animals in Canada. I have been super lucky to have seen and photographed many Algonquin Wolves (aka Eastern Wolf) over the years. My work has been published and I have shared my images with different conservation groups to bring awareness to animals like the Algonquin Wolf, who is a Threatened Species here in Ontario. Unfortunately, they are not afforded the protection that they should have. I want my work to make a difference.
