Working with bits and pieces whether it be glass or fabric is a very meditative process for me. To start with a few cuts and create something beautiful and useful as a gift or a piece of art that others enjoy is what Quilting and Stained Glass works give to me. I started about 20 years ago in Stained Glass with a gift card for classes and have been hooked ever since. I set up my studio, thanks to a gift from my partner, about 1 year into my journey and found it a quiet solitude for me to create for others. During COVID, while I was recovering from an autoimmune illness, which made it impossible to stand to do my glassworks, I started using my inherited stash of fabric to do the same piecework with quilting. I have never shown my work for public view before but I love both of these creative avenues and look forward to sharing with others and having you give me feedback along the way.
