I have always loved drawing and painting. I am a self-taught artist, and have taken numerous art courses throughout my life. Before moving to Bancroft, I lived in Victoria BC where I took courses from some well-known local artists, including Alesha Davies Fowlie, Bryony Wynne Jones and Lenaya Chrystall.
I have been a member of A Place for the Arts for the past six years.
My medium of choice is acrylics. I paint mainly landscapes and wildlife portraits. I have recently added painting scenes of people enjoying everyday activities. I also occasionally work in mixed media which gives me a sense of play. I find that I lose all sense of time when I get caught up in a painting.
