Linda Mackey Lang often seeks the “Road Less Travelled” to inspire her artwork. Having travelled and painted on location in areas as remote as the High Arctic, Greenland, Siberia, Iceland and Antarctica, Linda’s art often tells the stories of her journey and the changes in climate she has experienced first hand.
She is an elected signature member of Artist’s for Conservation, represented Canada at the Northern Lights Climbing Festival in Yamal, Siberia and was invited to launch International Polar Year in Paris, France and sit in on a round table conference on circumpolar arts at the United Nations Office in Geneva, Switzerland.
