These workshops will be diverse, creative and affordable. This month's featured artist is Eric Weiner, teaching us the basics of photo editing in Lightroom on March 25, at APFTA.

Update: All Kids classes are currently full. Please check back for more classes soon -- Yes, the rumours are true - APFTA is opening its doors to eager young artists in February 2018! We have a team of talented APFTA members who are super-excited to instruct the kidlets (ages 8-13ish) in an amazing series of kids art classes. A wide variety of creative modalities will be explored in each six week session. There's talk of fiber art projects, plasticine paintings, shadow puppet theaters, drip paintings...there are literally no limits when you combine young creative energy with our artsy, enthusiastic teachers.
Our members were busy, busy, busy switching the art over the weekend. There are some incredible pieces on display, including our annual FIFTY UNDER FIFTY HOLIDAY SALE! So grab yer mitts and come on over to see the new art, visit, enjoy a cappuccino or snack, and Get Your Art On!
"WINTER WARM-UP YOGA" At A Place For The Arts: A 6 week session of Iyengar inspired yoga for every body. Certified yoga instructor Barbara Allport will help you move your body, calm your mind and inspire the soul. Barbara has had a yoga practise for 20 years and taught for 10 years. Yoga helps us to set up a dynamic connection with our energetic and emotional bodies to ease stress and improve mobility. Classes are one and a half hours in length with 15min. of this in relaxation at the end of class. Classes are $15/class and pre-registration is recommended.
